Making high-quality education affordable and accessible for students is a critical priority at Oregon State University. We can achieve this when faculty adopt, adapt or author open educational resources into their curriculum. Long-term success starts with immediate action, and we’re here to help.
The Open Educational Resources Unit can help you locate OER for your course and recommend a Creative Commons license for your work. Our staff can also help you with the layout and design of your OER textbook, offer suggestions about pedagogical elements to include, and recommend tools for adding interactivity to your OER text.
You can add OER to your curriculum in several ways. These resources will provide best practices and guides to ensure you get the most out of your efforts.
